Terms of Use
Version 1.0 · Last updated: 30 June 2026
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the PMQ Learning Platform (“the Platform”). The Platform is operated by Forward Projects Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 06413365) (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not create an account or use the Platform.
1. Who we are and how to contact us
The Platform is operated by Forward Projects Ltd. You can contact us by email at enquiries@forwardprojects.com, or by post at our correspondence address: Forward Projects Ltd, Units 4/5 Rockfield Business Park, Old Station Drive, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, GL53 0AN.
2. What the Platform is
The Platform is an online study aid to help you prepare for the Association for Project Management Project Management Qualification (the “APM PMQ”). It provides learning content, practice questions and AI-assisted features. It is a revision tool only.
3. Independence — we are not affiliated with APM
The Platform is independent and is produced by Forward Projects Ltd. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, endorsed by, or connected to the Association for Project Management (APM). “APM”, “PMQ”, “Project Management Qualification” and “APM Body of Knowledge” are trade marks and/or the property of their respective owners, used here only to describe the qualification the Platform helps you study for.
4. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. You agree to provide accurate registration details, to keep your password confidential, and not to share your account. Each account is for one named individual; signing in on a new device may sign you out elsewhere. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, reproduce, republish, sell or redistribute any content from the Platform;
- scrape, data-mine or use automated means to extract content;
- reverse engineer the Platform or access it other than through the interface we provide;
- share, resell or provide others with access to your account;
- misuse the AI features, attempt to overload the service, or use the Platform unlawfully or to infringe the rights of others.
6. Intellectual property
The Platform, including its software, design and content, is protected by intellectual property rights and is provided for your personal, non-commercial study use only. You receive no ownership and no licence beyond personal use, and you may not reproduce or distribute any part of the content.
7. AI-assisted features — important
Some features — including AI-generated questions, AI marking of written answers, and the study assistant — are produced by automated systems. They may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. They are provided to support your revision and are not authoritative, not a substitute for the official APM Body of Knowledge or professional advice, and must not be relied on as a definitive statement of the syllabus or of correct answers. Always check important points against the official source. We do not warrant the accuracy of any AI-generated output.
8. No guarantee of results
The Platform is a study aid. We do not guarantee that using it will result in you passing the APM PMQ or any other examination, or any particular outcome. Your results depend on many factors outside our control.
9. Availability, changes and beta status
The Platform is under active development and is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or available at any particular time. We may add, change, suspend or withdraw features (including AI features and any trial access) at any time. Where access is provided free or on a trial basis, we may end or change it without liability.
10. Limitation of our liability
10.1 Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law — including, if you are a consumer, your statutory rights.
10.2 Subject to clause 10.1, we are not liable for any loss of profit, loss of opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, examination failure, or any indirect or consequential loss; or for any loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated output or on the Platform as a sole source of study.
10.3 Subject to clause 10.1, our total aggregate liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Platform — whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise — is limited to the total amount (if any) you have paid us for the Platform in the 12 months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.
11. Your data
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Notice, which forms part of these Terms.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms or misuse the Platform. You may close your account at any time from your Account page.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will give reasonable notice (for example, by email or when you sign in) and, where required, ask you to accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — except that, if you are a consumer, you may also bring proceedings in the courts of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live, and you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of that location.
